If you haven't already planned your Spring Break trip and you're having a hard time deciding where to go and what to do, here are a few popular destinations and ideas for you to get started with.

1. Destin, Florida

Destin is known for its sandy white beaches and clear blue water. It is one of the best places to go for spring break whether you are going with family or with friends. Many people from the south migrate to the Florida panhandle for their spring break getaways. One of the best things about Destin is the abundance of adorable beach houses. For people who want a little more privacy than a condo or maybe you just like the beach house atmosphere, Destin is the place for you. Destin is full of great restaurants also. Some of our favorites are: The Crab Trap, Harbor Docks. If you need a little thrill there is the Big Kahuna's Water and Adventure Park!

2. Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach

Located on the Alabama/Florida state line, Gulf Shores has turned into a big family vacation spot. It is not as popular as Destin and Panama City, but it makes for a much quieter trip. Many people travel here for purely that reason. Although it is quieter, there is still plenty to do! Some of the hot spots include: The Hangout, Lulu's Restaurant, FloraBama and plenty of other family entertainment such as mini golf, go-carts and more.  A new attraction is the Wharf, which is full of boutiques, shops, restaurants and more!

3. Panama City Beach, FL

Panama City Beach has earned its reputation of the "Party Beach." It's where thousands and thousands of high school seniors head for their senior trips and even more college kids are there for spring break. Even though it has that reputation, Panama City Beach still has some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. It has also cleaned up it's act over the last few years. There are numerous new condos on Front Beach Road that are nice and family friendly. Many of the older run down hotels have now been replaced by beautiful condos that overlook the Gulf.  Pier Park is a new addition and has features like The Back Porch, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, tons of shopping, a small carnival and ferris wheel and a huge movie theater. It spans to almost 1 million square feet of shopping and dining! Thats just a few of the features in Pier Park. So while you're planning your spring break trip, don't overlook Panama City Beach!
